Hi -- I've created a filter for a Help collection in the Help Integration Wizard (HIW). I'm now wondering whether I need do the process for creating and registering filters that's described in a couple of Help topics in the Visual Studio SDK. I don't know if these topics preceded the distribution of the HIW. The process describes adding information to the HelpFilter and HelpFilterToNamespace tables in the MSHelp2_RegTables__RTL_---_---.msm file. I checked the <my_project_name>.msm file that was generated after I created the Help collection project with the HIW, and then built the Help collection. This .msm file contains the information in the HelpFilter and HelpFilterToNamespace tables that the Help topics say to add to the MSHelp2_RegTables__RTL_---_---.msm file. My Qs are: 1. Does the information need to be in both the <my_project_name>.msm and MSHelp2_RegTables__RTL_---_---.msm files? 2. If I do need add the information to the MSHelp2_RegTables__RTL_---_---.msm file, what separators do I use in the namespace value -- periods (as I entered them in the HIW) or underscores (as they appear in the corresponding namespace field in the <my_project_name>.msm file)?
