Is Visual Stuido stopping IE7 opening?
I am getting "An unhandled win32 exception occured in iexploere.exe[4168]
Just in Time debugging this exception failed. No installed debugger has JIT
debugging enabled. In Visual Studio, JIT......". I click "OK" and IE doesn't
open.

On searhcing my HD I have found files c:\program files\ visual studio 2005

But on add/remove programs there is no mention of Visaul Studio which I
think means I never installed it?

I don't want VS particularly, but I want to be ab le to use IE.

Any ideas what I should do gratefully received.

First, IE is failing because of the exception cited, not because of a
debugging option dialog.
Second, I'm pretty sure VS 2005 must have been installed at some time if you
have the cited folder present on your hard drive. The automatic uninstall
will leave vestiges (which are probably triggering the debugging dialog). Is
the Visual Studio 2005 folder empty or almost empty?

Have you tried going back to a restore point when IE was working to solve
your problem?
