I have a weird problem. When I open certain solutions, VS 2008 shuts down. It doesn't crash, it just closes as if I clicked the close button. If I open this one solution, it doesn't close down. I can then open the other solutions that cause the problems. Any idea? There is nothing in the event logs. -- Vincent Wright
Hi Vincent, are you perhaps working with ClearCase? We've had this problem with some solutions after moving them to another location on hard disk. I think the issue is with the PowerCommands for Visual Studio. http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/PowerCommands/WorkItem/View.aspx?WorkItemId=8 Seems other people are having problems with it.
