Can Source Control Plug-In Be Changed Programmatically?   

I am trying to find a way, whether via Macro or Add-In that I can 
programatically change the Source Control Plug-In between TFS / VSS without 
navigating through the Tools / Options menus in VS 2008.

Is this possible?  Does the EnvDTE expose that property?
