Hi all My enviroment is Vista Ultimate and I am learning with a recently installed VS2008 Prof I just want to publish my website into wwwroot on my machine to see how it behaves. It worked out of the box but now I get an error whether I just build or publish the website "It is an error to use a section registered as AllowDefinition=MachinetoApplication beyond Application level. Can be caused by virtual directory not being configured as an application. The reference to my source is webconfig line 39 My webconfig does not have a line 39 and I have not set up any virtual directories yet Can some one give me a clue what to do about this Roger Stenson
