Where does VS2005 Save Web Site Publishing Credentials?   

After publishing my web site, VS no longer asks for credentials. This gave 
me quite a scare and so I ran around changing my site security, credentials 
etc, only to find the exact same behavior. After the first publication, VS 
no longer prompts for credentials on successive publication. So where are 
these credentials being saved?
