No http handler found for request 'GET' : error visual studio 2008   

Hi,

I am creating a simple asp.net project under visual studio 2008. But
when I run the application i am obtaining the error "No http handler
error visual studio 2008"

As suggested by a few folks in the forum i put the <clear> tag in
<httphandlers> section of web.config, but i still get the error

any solution?
