get latest version before check out?
Hello guys

This could sound like a paranoia but it really matters to me.

Can you tell me if I need to "get latest version" each time I check out a
file?
what if I leave the project open and shut down the PC and someone edits some
files on some other PC. (at what point does the sync happen?)

Thank you =)

RE: get latest version before check out?
Found the answer on MSDN:

When you check out an item, Visual SourceSafe usually copies the item from
the database to your working folder, unless you have specified to check out
the local version.
