There will be some missing pieces from within Visual SourceSafe 2005's
Visual Studio plugin. For example, you cannot see the history from the
plugin.
In regards to VSS 2005 on the SourceOffsite Server, everything should be
working there, and it should be no problem installing VSS 2005 on the
SourceOffsite Server.
As for SourceOffsite and Visual Studio 2005, VS 2005 changed some
handling of SourceControl components that caused incompatibilities in the
current release of SourceOffsite. This will be fixed in the next
release, currently in Beta.
