Error Checking in files through Web Service.
I am getting the following error on SOME files only whentrying to check them
in.
"There was a failure uploding the url etc......"
The paths are all correct and permissions and all. I can do all the files
individually except for one. The file reference.cs inside of one of my web
references. I think it has to do with the size of file. It is 264 kB in size,
i see it on the server with its GUID name, but its only about 130 kb when it
dies....

Any help would be great..

Thanks

RE: Error Checking in files through Web Service.
Are there any MS people monitoring these forums? Or are we just talking to
ourselves??

Re: Error Checking in files through Web Service.
Hi Dan,

Yes, there are one or two guys looking at this group...
You'd have a better chance though by posting to this forum
http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=50&SiteID=1
where more people from VSS QA can help.

What have you tried until now?
Search the forum, there are a couple of theads there about uploading
failures, for instance
http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=11584&SiteID=1
Since you mention the file is created partially, it's probably not a problem
with the access permissions or with inexistent upload folder.
Can it be that your server has run out of space?
How slow is your connection? There may be a timeout issue... Can you upload
smaller files correctly?
