Re: No File -> Source Control menue
Hi,
Have you installed VSS or any other source control provider?
VSS6.0d ss on a separate CD for VS2003 (if you have VS2003 Enterprise
editions), and for VS2005 it's downloadable from MSDN site (if you have a
premium subscription). Otherwise you have to buy the product separately,
Integrated source control operations are supported for VS2003 in
Professional and Enterprise, and for VS 2005 in Std, Pro and VSTS Editions.
Assuming you installed VSS and you have an edition of VS2005 supporting
integration, for VS2005 you must also set it as the active provider from
Tools/Options/SourceControl/Plug-ins.
If nothing shows there, I suggest you reinstall VSS so it will repair the
registry keys you might have missing.
