Try using Drag&Drop from Windows Explorer. I found the drag and drop. Boy, I can't believe the ms folks called this intuitive... The UI bugs in Visual Studio .NET 2005 and now this kind crap in VSS. It seems there is a total lack of focus in the UI group at microsoft.
