VS2005 VSS plug-in : wrong status for binary files
Hi,

because we are working with two teams which are geographically
separated, we use SourceSafe over http.

We also use SourceSafe to store documents regarding design, which are
mostly binary (Word) files. In order to access them via http, we wrap
them in a Visual Studio solution - using SourceSafe Explorer over a VPN
is painfully slow.

Anyway, it appears that for binary (Word) files, the plug-in gives the
wrong status when it is checked out: it is displayed as a "newly added
file", which is quite confusing.

Any one any clues on how to solve this ?

Thanks in advance,

Joris Spriet
