Microsoft Visual SourceSafe 6.0
just starting using this tool today, and have a few questions..

is there a way to tell how many files in a dir (like in Windows at the
bottom of folder view it tells you how many files are in folder)

can you change views so files are displayed not in one column w/info
(user, Date-Time, etc.) but in various columns w/no info (like "list"
view in Windows?)

can you have more than one window open so you can display one dir in one
window and another dir in another window?

thank you..

Hi Frances,

Look in the bottom right of the SourceSafe Explorer window. Last tab of the
status bar displays the number of files in the folder.
Or, the Properties window for the parent project it will list the number of
files and subfolders.

No.

Yes, just launch multiple instances of SourceSafe Explorer.
