Way to deploy using Windows Installer V4.5 with VS2005 Setup proje   

I have an application I am developing under XP-SP2 and VS2005. I want to add 
Windows Installer V4.5 to the list of Prerequisites in my Setup/Deployment 
project and use it to perform the installation on the target machine. My 
understanding was that 4.5 was required to install onto a Vista system.
