VSNET 2008 uninstall problems   

I am trying to cleanly uninstall VS.NET 2008 from a Vista 64 Bit machine.

I tried with the DVD I installed from and also from control panel and they 
both throw the same error.   "a problem has been encountered while loading 
the setup components"

Are there any other options to choose from?
