I am interested in using the Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 Team Suite Database Edition, as a single user. I've been using VS.Net 2005 Professional. I looked at some of the options available in the Database version and would like to have access to them and see what they are all about. My question is, is it necessary to have the Team Edition Server? or can I run the VS.NET Database Edition in the same manner as the Professional Edition on a stand alone basis? And, if I can just run VS.Net Team Suite Database as a stand alone tool, can I add the Server aspect for collaboration at a later date? FYI: I have no experience with the Team Edition. Thanks, Greg
