Team Foundation Server 2008 Setup in Distributed Environment
We can not figure out a way to give developers permissions to create new
projects without granting them content manager to our shared SQL Reporting
Services (SSRS) server. We would like to be able to create a new folder such
as http://servername/reports/tfs that can be used as the default location to
create new projects in. In addition, we would like to be able to select the
Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) location during the creation of a new
project instead of the defulat site location specified in the TFS
installation. Basically, we being forced to give all developers content
manager rights on our SSRS box and Site Collection administrator on our WSS
web application site.
