Running recorded session - Socket Errors   

We have a new application that has been set up securely - different domains, 
several different machines, using SharePoint Portal Server 2003. 

I am able to record the session against the server without problems.  Basic 
authentication turned on, all works dandy.

When I try to replay the test, all I get are socket errors, about 200 per 
second.

What am I missing?  Why can I record the session, but can't execute it?  
Does it run as a different user, different IP, something strange that I'm not 
aware of?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
