Passthru Sample bug?
Passthru is a great sample for APP.

I find this bug:

when url is OK, everything is OK, but when url has no response, for example,
the server is busying, Passthru hangs, and the user had to kill the exe,
after that, IE can't connect any site any more. you have to restart the
computer.

but if the url is OK and you kill the Passthru exe, IE was not infected.

Can you give an example of a "bad" URL, so I can see for myself?

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not
necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to
land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly
overhead. -- RFC 1925
