Script to mail change of IP address
Hi All,
Is there a way to program a mail delivery with the new IP address a PC takes
from a DHCP server whenever this one changes?!
My first thought is to run every 1 hour the script and detect the IP change.
What if my gateway (router with PPPoE) changes its address?! How can I
detect this change from a PC if the only interface to manage the router is a
web one?!
Can I open the port 80 (in script) and get the page response with the
router's status?!
Best regards,
Nicolae
