I used to be able to click the preview tab while working on a page in FrontPage with no problem. Since upgrading to a new computer with Vista Ultimate, I start getting file:///C:/Users/Dan%20Dog/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Temporary%20Internet%20Files/FrontPageTempDir/pvw1.htm It ask me if I want to continue running script and if I click yes or no enough times it finally displays the page. If I select Preview In Browser, it opens the page and and my drop down menus are all down. If I open my site on line in ie7, it displays all of my drop down menus as down. I installed firefox and when I view my site on-line everything looks fine. When I use firefox to Preview In Browser in Front Page everything looks fine but when I just select preview, it defaults to ie 7 browser and nothing looks right. I didn't have this problem when I was working with frontpage on the other machine with windows xp and sp2. There is something about vista untimate and ie7 that doesn't display my web pages properly either on line or on my pc in preview. When I downloaded firefox I selected it for my default browser but apparently it is not recognized when you use the preview tab in frontpage and I can't select it to be the frontpage default browser.
If I understand your question, you are having problems using the Preview tab of FrontPage under Vista. I also understand that you did not write the script. This is not the best newsgroup to ask this question in. You will get better results in a newsgroup for FrontPage and/or Vista. You should find the most appropriate newsgroup and post there only. If you did not already post this question elsewhere then you will certainly get faster results in a more appropriate newsgroup.
