I created a logical partition using Partition Magic (18 GB). I then formatted that Drive from Windows XP OS .I tried installing Vista while logged into Windows XP. Followed directions to do a custom install on the new partition. After selecting the new Drive and clicking install, I get an error. The error is Setup Encountered an Internal Error. After that for 5 min. the Wizard runs saying "Installation has been cancelled". It got cancelled on it's own when it gave me an error. It also says "Any changes that were made to your computer during the installation process are being undone". Has anyone encountered similar issues?
Could be a problem with the ISO. Reburn the ISO to a 2x speed setting (nice and slow) and then try again. If that doesn't work, try redownloading the ISO perhaps :o) -- Zack Whittaker ZackNET Enterprises: www.zacknet.co.uk MSBlog on ResDev: www.msblog.org Vista Knowledge Base: www.vistabase.co.uk This mailing is provided "as is" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
