Re: Windows Vista Beta 1, Developer Center
Where would I find the Server builds? The press release indicated that it was
also available to developers and OEMs. Is Server only going to be available
through the official Beta program at this point and not through MSDN?

Re: Windows Vista Beta 1, Developer Center
No, just give it sometime, the client has the highest priority right now
since you won't be seeing the Server finalized until way into 2007. So there
is lots of time for that to be made available - August 3rd, 2005.

Re: Windows Vista Beta 1, Developer Center
From http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/newsroom/winxp/VistaBeta1FS.mspx:

The first beta of Windows Server™, code-named “Longhorn,” also is now
available to a limited number of participants in the Technical Beta Program,
including hardware manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers,
independent hardware vendors, system builders, independent software vendors
and developers
----------------
To me, "now available" means now. So it would seem that someone, somewhere,
has access. I would appreciate a reply from someone at Microsoft that knows
about this. Thank you.
