Problems with Audigy 2 sound driver.
When I install the sound driver from Creative it installs just fine. Requires
that I reboot, so ok. But when I log in again, it says installing driver,
asks for permission and I give that, but then it fails for some reason.

It says it's searching through the preconfigured driver folder, and it
finds a driver (and it seems to be the correct one). But it says that the
parameters are incorrect.
What does that mean?

Try this:

then reinstall the drivers :o)
