With Vista? The release date changed another time? Last news i read says that will be still in beta when VIsta will be out and WinFs will be released later as a kind of service pack or something similar. If i remember well is not sure if will be included even in longhorn server. WinFX no longer contains WinFS. WinFS is separate. WinFX is considered to contain WCF, WPF, WWF. It would be more correct to state that WinFS is not part of the Initial release of WinFX, as WinFS is still part of WinFX. So the initial Wave of WinFX is WPF v1, WCF v1, WF v1 and the foundation classes with framework 2.0 as the base. Second wave?? of WinFX is WPF v1.x??, WCF v1.x?? WF v1.x and the foundation classes with LINQ with framework 2.0 and WinFS 1.0 Of course the second wave is very vague. right now. and only gleemed from rather rosy glasses from PDC talks.
