They are spreading like a wildfire. The owner of vistaicons.com even has the guts to call the stolen icons he offers to visitors the "official vista icon set". I wonder whether Microsoft is going to do something about it or if they just would not bother. Why am I writing this? I have to admit I am a frustrated. I wanted to have good search engines rankings for "vista icon", but instead of stealing someone's else work, I have foolishly implemented support for compressed vista icons into our icon editor... Seemed like a good idea at that time. Seems like a useless work now. Just ignore me, Vlasta http://vista-icon-editor.com
Hi, Why is Microsoft being accused of stealing icons from another company? Don't tell me they're running out of ideas or are they just lacking innovative ideas ... come on, it can't be that hard to come up with a new set of icons for a new operating system! There's heaps of things they can do, I mean coming up with an original icon just takes a bit of imagination. -- Domino "Vlasta" wrote: > They are spreading like a wildfire. > > The owner of vistaicons.com even has the guts to call the stolen icons he > offers to visitors the "official vista icon set". > > I wonder whether Microsoft is going to do something about it or if they just > would not bother. > > > Why am I writing this? > I have to admit I am a frustrated.
