Aero Turns Off Why???
Hi,

Currently suffering a problem with my Vista 32Bit Ultimate OS.

I'm running a Q6600, 2GB Crucial Ballistix, 7900GS 256MB...

I leave my PC running 24/7 sometimes when I return after a few hours a
little ! sign is in the icon bar at the bottom right of the screen. I
double click it and it says that aero turned itself off due to it using
most of the ram.

While this is occurring I see CPU usage at 0% and ram usage at it's
typical 30%.

Could someone help me diagnose the problem and a fix so Aero always
stays on?

Thanks in advance :)

Re: Aero Turns Off Why???
sounds like you have a memory leak in some other application. Task
Manager is a good place to start diagnosis.

Re: Aero Turns Off Why???

Re: Aero Turns Off Why???
My computer runs aero, but then on random occasions it turns itself off,
and the colour-change menu turns to one off XP. STRANGE.

Re: Aero Turns Off Why???
Sometimes some of your programs do not support Aero at all or Aero
doesn't support it. Some programs aren't support with desktop
composition, so Aero is automatically turned off. Close your program and
it should return back to normal.

Re: Aero Turns Off Why???
I turned that crap off the first time I turned my PC and Laptop on.
It's a waste of memory and performance.
