Aero file, been deleted
Hi everyone :)
I have a problem with vista that osme of you may or may not know how to
fix, I downloaded VistaGlazz, Which warned me if I used it, it may get
rid of the windows glass/aero, and I tried it and it did, so I tried
loading up VistaGlazz again and said
aerostyles.msstyles was missing, so obviously, the file has been
deleted, how would I get it back?, repair vista?, if so HOW?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE

Re: Aero file, been deleted
Hi NegsUrbanSports,

You can see if running a *sfc /scannow* command to see if it can fix it
for you. If not, see the *NOTE *at the top of the tutorial for some
alternatives to try and fix it for you.

http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/66978-system-files-sfc-command.html

Hope it help you,
Shawn

Re: Aero file, been deleted
Hi NegsUrbanSports,

Have you tried using system restore. Coz in the issue you mentioned
that you made a software change. Try to undo that using a system restore
if that fails then you can try
sfc /scannow.

Re: Aero file, been deleted
Pop in a Windows Vista installation CD, boot into the CD (reboot with
the CD inside the drive, turn on and press any button when indicated to
start CD operations)

Then just hit the repair button...
