Extending DCOM cache
Hi,

I'm trying to collect the list of processes simultaneously from some remote
servers using WMI but when the amount of remote servers is high or some of
them contain many processes I'm starting to get the error: "8007000e: Not
enough storage is available to complete this operation".
This last error returns suddenly for all scanned remote hosts at the same
time, so my first thought was that the DCOM cache on my local computer was
full. Am I right?
If so, does any one know how to extend the DCOM cache on my local XP
computer?

Thanks, KJ7

Re: Extending DCOM cache
I used to see this error back with NT 4.0 and you had to apply or re-apply a
service pack to fix it (SP4 or later). Try this with your XP box. SP3 is
now out.
