Perfmon instances and WMI class instances disparity on Win2008
Hello,
When using perfmon to look at the performanc object 'MSExchange Database'
shows three instances "edgetransport", "Information Store" and
"Microsoft.Exchange.Cluster.Repl". The corresponding WMI performance class
is Win32_PerfRawData_ESENT_DATABASE and when I query that via WbemTest or
browse for the class using the WMI Tools CIM Studio, the only instance it
shows is "svchost" (an instance not even shown by Perfmon) or no instances at
all.

This has been verified in at least three Windows 2008 environments. I have
run winmgt /resyncperf multiple times, rebooted the machines, etc. and still
the same results.

Why the discrepancy?

Thanks,

Matt
