Using Win32_UserProfile to Map Profile to New User
This is a cross post, since I've now decided that it's probably more of a
developer question.....

We are about to merge an existing small school into our large university.
They are using Vista Enterprise machines on their current Windows 2003
domain. These users and computers will be migrated to our domain in a couple
of months. There are only about 25 users and computers since it's just
faculty and staff, thus no mass domain migration tools such as ADMT or the
3rd party ones will be used. This also means there will be no trust between
our domain and their current one.

I will need to migrate the user profiles on the existing machines to our
domain. According to KB930955, this is a Win32_UserProfile WMI function in
Vista. Since I know next to nothing about WMI, I am hoping I can get
instructions for doing this, or maybe someone already has a script written
for it.

Keep in mind that there will be no trust between the domains, so I don't
know if this will be a hindrance.

Thanks.
