Exactly! While I have all sort of unpackers installed, less
knowledgable (and less intolerant) family members and
friends have not. They have enough to do to grasp the
concept of file archives - giving them different ones only
increases their confusion.

Additionally the file commander I use (Total Commander)
supports ZIP archives better than other formats.
It really works seamlessly (archives are treated like
normal directories for most options) and very quickly.
