Hello It seems it's a FAQ, but I still can not find an answer: I installed Visual Studio 2005 and then DirectX 9.0 SDK, but when I press F1 with a DirectX code, there is no dynamic help found. I found http://groups.google.fr/group/microsoft.public.win32.programmer.directx.sdk/browse_thread/thread/bfceff27f88a3c2c/da2c833626ef5e96?hl=fr&lnk=gst&q=help+%2B%22visual+studio%22&rnum=1#da2c833626ef5e96 but I can not find any "help -> help on help -> using help in visual studio.net -> using the combined help collection manager -> visual studio .net combined help collection manager -> click on directx (check the box)" in Visual Studio 2005. Someone can help? Thanks David
I don't know if you have already gone down this road, but try looking in your VS help file for the URL ms-help://MS.VSCC.v80/dv_vscccommon/local/CollectionManager.htm or search for Combined Help Collection Manager Under the heading "Collections available for inclusion in VSCC:" hopefully you will see a checkbox for DX 9. You need to check it and click the Update VSCC button. If it's not there, I would try reinstalling DX. I haven't got any more suggestions if that doesn't work.
