Hi,

Is it possible to copy a song from a CD to the hard drive using DirectX?

Not sure what you're trying to do exactly (see link in my sig for help
writing an effective post).

Did you read the thread I linked to?  It asks:

"Is it possible to rip audio cd's programmatically???? (without using 3rd
party components, please...)
Perhaps using mci commands (from windows) or using directx..."
