Directshow graphedit9 utility   

I installed DirectX 9.0 build021204.
and I am studying DirectShow, especially, Graphediter.
but I have a problem.
I can't insert filters in the category - Directshow filters.
When I click the Cross button to extened it, the entire graphedit program die.
But other categories is OK-Audio renderer, Video capture source, Audio 
compressors, etc.
what do I have to do?
