Simple DXUT Framework Tutorial
http://www.tech-resource.gotdns.com/resources/resource.php?article=10

This is a simple tutorial useful for programmers who are not very
familiar with DirectX or the DXUT framework. It outlines some of the
most common callback functions that DXUT uses, as well as how to
install a blank project and start rendering images using DXUT. Great
for beginners looking to start rendering right away.

Feel free to post comments for the article on the site to let me know
what you think. Hopefully this article is helpful to some of you,
although it is not intended for more advance DirectX programmers that
are already familiar with DXUT framework.

Thanks,
Brian De Sousa
