Windows Media Format SDK using UPnP to map ports?
We have a video application that uses the Windows Media Format SDK that uses
a WMWriter instance configured with a pull sink. Clients connect to the pull
sink and can receive video.

However, one thing we're noticing is if our clients have UPnP enabled
routers, they see an entry in their router that looks like "Windows Media
Format SDK (application name)" where app name is the name of the hosting
application. For example, if the app is called vid.exe, the entry on the
router looks like "Windows Media Format SDK (vid)".

This is interfering with our own attempts to use UPnP to map ports on the
user's router, and the format sdk doesn't seem to have any documentation on
how it performs this, how reliable it is, etc.

Any info is much appreciated; I've scoured the internet and found a few
people having similar issues, but no explanations or answers.

Thanks in advance,
Jeremy
