I found DirectDraw hardware acceleration would be disabled after NetMeeting being launched. Camtasia also disables DirectDraw hardware acceleration by setting the Acceleration Level. But NetMeeting seems use other way to do this because the value of Acceleration Level does not be changed when NetMeeting runs. Does anybody know how NetMeeting does that? And what DirectDraw API or Windows API does NetMeeting call to achieve that? Thanks a lot!
Netmeeting is a bad application, it shouldnt do this and it does it wrongly in that if Netmeeting crashes it leaves the acceleration disabled.
