Changing hardware acceleration of video adapter from registry.
Hi,

We are trying to change the "Hardware acceleration" of the video adapter
from an application. We do this by changing the registry key
"Acceleration.level" in the registry entry for the video adpater driver.
However the change takes effect only after a retsart of the system.
With refernce to the info in the given link
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/2000/server/reskit/en-us/Default.asp?url=/resources/documentation/Windows/2000/server/reskit/en-us/regentry/Activate.asp
we believe that just restarting the video service/driver would solve the
problem instead of a system reboot.
Is this possible and if so how do we do it.

Thanks in Advance
Regards,
Sareena.
