Where can I find the .NET Security Policy configuration tools for VS 2008?
Are you referring to the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Configuration? That is in the control panel\admin tools. .Net security policy is framework version specific not Visual Studio specific.
I mentioned VS 2008 because I wanted to convey what it was that I have installed. Since VS 2008 means installation of .NET Framework 2.0/3.5, yes that is what I'm referring to. However, I do not see these tools in Control Panel...Admin Tools, which is why I'm asking where they are. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/2bc0cxhc(VS.80).aspx Looks like that app does not come with the redistributable. I would look for the MSC for 2.0 elsewhere on microsoft.com
This says that the tool is installed with the .NET Framework SDK. A full installation of VS 2008 does include the Windows SDK. Are they referring to something else? Why is this not included with VS? "fixitchris" wrote in message news:57B9C1F8-5630-461B-8D91-EE1263B58583@microsoft.com... > > Yes they are... > > http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=fe6f2099-b7b4-4f47-a244-c96d69c35dec&displaylang=en >
