Environment : VB6/ sql server 2000/ widows XP/ MDAC 2.7/ Desktop application this application is pretty huge, 5-6 years of development in VS 6, now we are in the process of upgrading the database from sql server 2000 to sql server 2005. would be great if some one can either point me to a good resource or tell me the mods that are requried to do the upgade both in the database and in VB6 code. FYI.. i tried to install and download mdac2.8 on windows xp machine and i got a message saying that it is not compatiable with this operating system. application is using a UDL file to read the connection string. thanks sameer
