Converting to WPF Apps
I am thinking of converting a Windows Forms app to WPF as a learning
process.

Is there a specific group for WPF? I couldn't find one in my news group
list.

My first (Hello Jeff) app has very fuzzy text on the Button - I have
Unclear-Type turned off on the PC, does WPF turn it on for its own apps?

Re: Converting to WPF Apps
The newer technology newsgroups are just on MSDN now rather than UseNet.
For WPF try

Thanks, Rob. That's really bad news though, I can't live with the speed of
these web forums, wonder why MSFT won't use Usenet?

Re: Converting to WPF Apps
I think its because certain ISPs don't provide UseNet access now?

I'm sure someone else on here will have a more definitive answer however

They have vastly improved the speed and functionality of the forums. Not all
of them have been moved over to the new format, but this one has. Give it
another try.
