I am thinking of converting a Windows Forms app to WPF as a learning process. Is there a specific group for WPF? I couldn't find one in my news group list. My first (Hello Jeff) app has very fuzzy text on the Button - I have Unclear-Type turned off on the PC, does WPF turn it on for its own apps? -- Jeff Gaines Damerham Hampshire UK If you ever find something you like buy a lifetime supply because they will stop making it
The newer technology newsgroups are just on MSDN now rather than UseNet. For WPF try http://forums.msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/wpf/threads/ Kind regards Rob "Jeff Gaines" wrote in message news:xn0ftzr00p91no003@msnews.microsoft.com... > > I am thinking of converting a Windows Forms app to WPF as a learning > process. > > Is there a specific group for WPF? That's really bad news though, I can't live with the speed of these web forums, wonder why MSFT won't use Usenet? -- Jeff Gaines Damerham Hampshire UK All those who believe in psychokinesis raise my hand.
I think its because certain ISPs don't provide UseNet access now? I'm sure someone else on here will have a more definitive answer however "Jeff Gaines" wrote in message news:xn0fu1hyk2li02k000@msnews.microsoft.com... > On 17/08/2008 in message > Rob Blackmore wrote: > >>The newer technology newsgroups are just on MSDN now rather than UseNet. >>For WPF try >> >>http://forums.msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/wpf/threads/ >> >>Kind regards >> >>Rob > > Thanks, Rob. They have vastly improved the speed and functionality of the forums. Not all of them have been moved over to the new format, but this one has. Give it another try. RobinS. GoldMail.com
