Company Overview:  Our client is a internet and retail establishment that 
sells and installs turn-key home theater and whole-house audio systems. 
They do it via a website which sells complete packages as well as individual 
home theater and whole-house audio components directly to consumers. A 
second website is a wholesale business that sells to other small and 
mid-sized home theater and specialty electronics stores. With the exception 
of electronics, our client designs all of its products and has them 
manufactured in overseas factories under rigorous design and quality 
standards.   This is a dream job for someone who likes to play with the toys 
within the graphics/web design world.  Additionally, it is an amazing place 
to work if you like TOYS like plasma TVs, surround sound systems, etc.

Job Overview: Our client is seeking a qualified professional whose immediate 
responsibilities will include creating dynamically generated, 
database-driven web pages using ASP, ASP.net, and Javascript for the retail 
and wholesale ecommerce sites. He or she will also be responsible for 
improving the web services application (based on SOAP) that keeps the two 
website databases in sync. Additional responsibilities will include the 
development and implementation of web-based processes, such as a new dealer 
application process.  The individual will work as part of a four-person 
team and act as the technical expert and programmer. Other members of the 
group will include a marketing/content specialist, a database specialist as 
well as one of the business owners. He or she will be expected to stay 
abreast of new technologies, make recommendations on possible applications, 
and implement changes/upgrades.  The ability to learn and work with a wide 
variety of technologies is critical as the scope and type of projects will 
expand beyond those outlined above. Significant growth opportunities exist 
for the individual if he or she demonstrates the ability to manage projects 
and resources, meet deadlines, stay within budgets, and create 
industry-leading applications that improve sales.

The list of immediate projects includes: 1)       Creation and 
implementation of New Dealer/Application Approval Process for the wholesale 
website.  2)       Enhance communication between financial package and SQL 
database via web services3)       Improved shopping cart interface on the 
wholesale website4)       Changes to the product list views on the wholesale 
website5)       Change wholesale product pages and views to show volume 
discounts6)       Develop interface/customize APIs for tight integration 
with Overstock.com, eBay, Shopzilla, and other major etail channels7) 
Development of a Theater Seating Planner Application (web-based) for the 
wholesale website 8)       Add advanced search functionality on retail 
website9)       Develop and implement of unified style sheets for both 
websites10)   Website template changes as outlined by Search Engine 
Optimization (SEO) firm

                                  *The clients website is run on Netsuite, 
an online business application that provides customer relationship 
management (CRM), inventory management, accounting, enterprise resource 
planning (ERP) and eCommerce capabilities (see www.Netsuite.com). Our client 
uses Netsuite for all of the above. The wholesale website uses ASP and 
ASP.net and runs on a MS SQL database. This SQL database is kept in sync 
with the Netsuite backend via web services (SOAP).
Bachelors Degree highly desired.
3-5 years of full-time work experience within a bulk of the technologies 
listed above.
Willingness to work extra hours as needed
Creative, innovative, not afraid to step outside of ones comfort zone.
Agency experience a plus.    Benefits package includes health and dental
