Speech Recognition has really been slowing down my laptop (I have Windows Vista), so I was wondering if anyone can pleeeaaaasssee explain to me how to stop it from automatically opening when I turn on my computer. The computer freezes for about 30 seconds each time that Speech Recognition tries to automatically open when I turn on my computer. Thank you soooooo much!

The is a dotnet group and hence this post is off topic. You should be asking in a Vista group. Please do so in future. However, go to Speech Recognition Options.
