Temporary Folder
I recently downloaded a file. The file downloaded to "temporary folder"
automatically.

I can't find this file. I checked in "temporary internet files" through
explorer, but it's not there. I did a search for the filename, and it
doesn't appear. It the temporary folder the same thing as "temporary
internet files"? If not, where do I find the temporary folder?

Thanks

If I knew the answer off the top of my head, I'd provide it. Did you modify
the Windows Explorer search to look for hidden and system files, and start
it at "Computer"?
If that doesn't help, try asking your question in an appropriate Windows
group, where you'll probably get a good answer right away. I'm guessing that
you have Vista, so here's how to find the right group.

As you appear to be using a web interface, start here to find an appropriate
group:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx

Click the + beside your language. then scroll down to Windows. In Windows,
open the Vista category, then find a group there to
post in.
