Windows XP Home Crash
Hi,

One of the computers in my office which has OS Windows Home XP was infected
with a virus which spoilt the registry files.I cannot even log in safe mode.
Now I need to reinstall windows so I am wondering if I install again do I
need to use a new windows XP CD (New Registration) or there is any ways by
which Windows can identify and activate without my having to buy another OS
CD Key.

Thanks
Sanak

Use your existing Windows XP CD and key. You may have to activate by phone,
but it's not a big hassle.
In your situation (unable to boot at all), you'll want to do a complete new
install after formatting your hard drive to ensure the infection is removed.
Set your BIOS to boot, first, from your optical drive, then boot from your
XP CD.
