video driver issues   
there was an update this morn. 12-16-07, for my graphics card. after updating 
the comp restarted in 640x480 mode. tried to roll back driver and failed 
tried to install driver and access denied have no disk or reboot info for 
driver, vga card installed but failed, no adapters available really stuck and 
can't figure any of this out ? thanks for the help in advance!

I guessing here as you don't provide needed information.
Are you running Vista? If so, have you tried going back to a restore point 
previous to the river installation?

As a general rule, it's a really bad idea to install hardware driver updates 
through WU. You only need to update drivers *if* you are having issues with 
that hardware, and you should go direct to the hardware maker for drivers.

I'm running wind xp sp2, downloaded the latest security updates and rebooted 
comp a little while ago, now everything seems just fine(still researching 
this issue though). Also you mentioned sys restore, I tried that before the 
orig post and every restore point I selected would not work. Things seem to 
be running fine, just a little slow. Thanks for the info and help.
