Changing color mode to 256 on windows 98
I formatted my c drive and reinstalled windows 98. Everything works fine
except I can't play games that require 256 color mode. The games worked fine
before I formatted, so I know that is not hardware related. I have tried
everything, but I can't solve the problem. I would appreciate any help.

Have you reinstalled the correct drivers for your video card?

For more and better answers, try asking your Win 98 question in an Windows
group, rather than in this .NET
programming group.

To find the group you need,

Use the link below:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?gu...

Select your language from the Tree View on the left, then select Windows .
In Windows, select Windows (Older Versions) and find the Windows 98
group there.
