I am trying to record myself playing guitar and singing. My voice records well but my guitar sounds horribly distorted. I am wondering if it is the microphone. It is a nexxtech dynamic omnidirectional imp 500. Also in my Device Recording window on Audacity it has Microsoft Sound Mapper. If I change it to realtek high definition microphone it will not work..
